The 46th UAE National Day is just round the corner and we will be celebrating 46 years since the UAE’s six emirates united. Like every year, this day will be celebrated by flag-raising ceremonies, parades, parties and the main attraction - the magnificent fireworks that will enlighten the UAE skies.

Here are four places to spot fireworks and festivities in Dubai:

1. Burj Khalifa
Every year, the world's tallest building is one of the star attractions for the National Day festivities and this year it is going to be no less. The Burj Khalifa will be draped in the UAE's national colours. Be there to witness the magic.

2. The Beach, JBR

You’ll need to get down to the popular “The Beach” on JBR to watch the firework. Go early to bag the best spot. It will be on Saturday December 2.

The Beach, Jumeirah Beach Residence, 9.30 pm

3. Dubai Festival City
Head to Dubai Festival City on December 2 to celebrate the National Day. You'll find fun and entertainment for the whole family, including an international jet pack performance, Al Yola dancers, and a thrilling helium balloon act with acrobats. There'll be a flyby display from Al Fursan, the UAE Air Force's aerobatic display team, and the exclusive premiere of the Imagine National Day show. To bring the day to a close, there'll be a spectacular fireworks show, which will take place immediately after the signature Imagine show.

4. Wafi Mall
Wafi Mall has lined up an exciting set of cultural and fun activities for the whole family to enjoy on December 1 and 2, 2017. A 'flag hunt' for children, and a special light and sound show are among the events the mall is organising.
The mall will also showcase a brand new and alluring light and sound attraction that will be projected across the Pyramids building in the Central Courtyard at Wafi Mall.
